A. Handling requests
Responding to requests made through forms, email, phone, WhatsApp or other enabled channels.

Using the information provided to calculate and prepare removal or transport quotes.

Where there is valid consent or another legal basis that lawfully allows it, CityFurgo may send commercial information related to its services.
Users may withdraw their consent to commercial communications at any time.
4. Legal basis
Depending on the specific processing, the legal bases may be:
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
- Consent of the data subject.
- Legitimate interest of the controller, where applicable.
5. Retention
Data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.
Where there is a contractual relationship, data may be kept for the period needed to manage that relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required by applicable legal obligations.
Data used exclusively for commercial communications will be kept until the user requests its deletion or withdraws consent, where consent is the corresponding legal basis.
6. Recipients
Data may be disclosed to or accessible by:
- Public authorities where there is a legal obligation.
- Financial institutions and payment providers.
- Accounting and tax advisers.
- Technology providers needed to provide the service.
- Hosting, email and communications providers.
- Insurance companies where needed to handle a claim.
- Professionals or collaborators involved in providing the service, where necessary to carry it out.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Ads), only if you accept cookies: receives technical data about the visit and a notice that a booking was made (with its reference and amount) or that Call or WhatsApp was tapped, to measure ad results. Never your name, phone number or email.
- Google Ireland Limited, when the calculator's address search is used (see the next section).
Users' personal data will not be sold.
Where providers act as data processors, the corresponding safeguards will be put in place in accordance with data protection regulations.
7. Address search (Google Maps)
The website's calculator includes a search tool that suggests addresses as the user types, provided by Google Ireland Limited through the Google Places API.
This means that:
- The text typed in the address field is sent to Google to obtain suggestions, together with technical connection data (such as the IP address).
- It is only sent while typing in that specific field. The rest of the booking data — name, phone, email — is never shared with Google.
- The search tool does not install Google cookies in the user's browser: the query is made directly against its API.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in making booking easier and reducing errors in pickup and delivery addresses. Users can ignore the suggestions and type the address manually: the form works just the same.
Processing by Google is governed by its own privacy policy.
8. International transfers
Where any of the providers used involves an international data transfer, it will only take place when there is a legal basis and the safeguards required by applicable regulations.
9. User rights
Users may exercise the following rights:
- Access.
- Rectification.
- Erasure.
- Objection.
- Restriction of processing.
- Portability.
- Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on it.
To exercise these rights, send a request to info@cityfurgo.es.
The request must allow the applicant to be reasonably identified.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if they consider that the processing of their data does not comply with applicable regulations.
10. Security
CityFurgo will apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, destruction, unauthorised access, alteration or improper disclosure.
However, no system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security.
11. Data provided by the user
Users guarantee that the data provided is accurate, complete and up to date.
Where users provide data about another person, they must be sufficiently entitled to do so and, where appropriate, have informed that person beforehand.
12. WhatsApp and other channels
If users contact CityFurgo via WhatsApp, phone, email or other external channels, their data may be processed to handle the request, prepare quotes, manage bookings and provide the requested services.
Automatic WhatsApp confirmation. When making a booking, users may voluntarily tick a box to receive confirmation of their request by WhatsApp on the phone number they provide. This message is based on their express consent, is optional and is not a condition for contracting the service. Users may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@cityfurgo.es or replying to the message itself. If the box is not ticked, no automatic message will be sent.
The operation of those platforms and the processing they carry out are also subject to their own privacy policies.
13. Updates
This Privacy Policy may be amended to adapt to legal or technical changes or to changes in the services offered.
The version published on cityfurgo.es is the version in force. See also the Legal notice and the Cookie policy.
